A pair of Republican lawmakers are suing House officials over a security screening rule they allege is being selectively enforced, and they’ve hired former Trump Homeland Security official Ken Cuccinelli for the legal fight.

Reps. Louie Gohmert and Andrew Clyde on Sunday filed the complaint in D.C. federal court against House sergeant-at-arms William Walker and the chief administrative officer for the House, Catherine Szpindor. An attorney with the law firm Juris Day, Earl “Trey” Mayfield, is on the complaint, as is Cuccinelli. The former Trump administration official is not named with any law firm and the filing states that a local bar application is “forthcoming.”
