Despite the extraordinary challenge of completing their legal studies amid the backdrop of a global pandemic that nearly sank the economy, the J.D. class of 2020 fared surprisingly well in the entry-level job market, according to Karen Sloan in a recent article.

Sloan dissected the latest figures from the American Bar Association to show how the new grads were doing nationally, so we turned to Karen C. Sargent, assistant dean of career services at Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, to see how grads from Texas law schools were faring.
