Locke Lord has announced plans to pay spring COVID-19 bonuses to associates at the end of May, but the firm has not matched the full Big Law market rate that pays associates up to $64,000.
In a memo Monday, Locke Lord Chairman David Taylor notified associates that the firm would pay bonuses ranging from $4,500 for the youngest associates up to $24,000 for senior associates May 28. Associates on track to bill an annualized 1,950 hours in the period from Nov. 1, 2020, through April 30 are eligible.
