The firmwide head of Thompson & Knight‘s corporate and securities practice, along with another energy transactions partner, have jumped to Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as the firm continues to add dealmakers in Texas.
Wesley Williams joined Akin Gump on Wednesday as a corporate partner in Dallas and Fort Worth. The former Thompson & Knight practice head is now a co-head of Akin Gump’s energy team. Jessica Hammons joined Akin Gump on April 1 as a corporate partner in Dallas.
