“I’ve been going to Delaware for 15, 16 years. It’s one of the big battlegrounds for corporate disputes. I’ve always wanted a Wilmington office,” said founding member William T. Reid IV, who works in the firm’s Austin office. ”At any given time, even right now, today, we have half a dozen active matters in Delaware.” The 37-lawyer firm also has offices in Dallas, New York and Washington, D.C.

The new Wilmington office, which opened Wednesday, is managed by partner Jonathan Kass, who represents institutional investors in corporate governance disputes, and in appraisal and securities litigation. Delaware corporate litigator Norman Monhait also came out of retirement to join the firm as of counsel.
