The State Bar of Texas president wants lawyers and their clients to know that its 21-member task force hears their grievance.

“We have an absolute duty to protect the public from bad lawyers,” said Larry P. McDougal Sr., the president of the State Bar of Texas. “But we also have a duty to protect the lawyers from frivolous complaints.”
