The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. has tapped experienced in-house leader Russell Dempsey to serve as the federal agency’s general counsel.
He succeeds Paul Chalmers, who stepped up from his role as deputy general counsel to serve as the PBGC’s acting top lawyer in 2019. Attempts to speak with Dempsey and PBGC representatives were not immediately successful.
