Lawyers for Georgia and Florida argued before the U.S. Supreme Monday morning in what Justice Clarence Thomas titled, “The Case of the Disappearing Water.”
“Where do you think it went?” asked the Georgia-born justice known for his silence. Thomas was referring to dramatically differing measures of water flowing from Georgia to Florida—the essence of the long-running dispute between the states.
