Nearly 11,000 Texas firms, ranging from an Am Law 200 firm to many solo practitioners, received a total of $900.18 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans from the Small Business Administration, saving a reported total of 67,039 jobs.

The Texas PPP loan recipients include 40 of the 100 firms with the most lawyers in Texas, which received loans totaling $102.99 million, saving a reported total of 5,287 jobs. The loans to that group averaged $2.57 million, saving an average of 132 jobs, according to a Texas Lawyer analysis of the detailed data that the SBA made public last week following a court order.
