The Fifth Court of Appeals in Dallas ordered its court clerk to report a North Texas attorney to the attorney discipline system because of sub-par representation of a client in a car wreck case.

The Fifth Court on Thursday wrote that the record in the case would demonstrate Denison lawyer Charles Paternostro’s attorney misconduct. He used meritless arguments, botched the record citations in his appellate brief, attacked opposing counsel and wrote an inappropriate letter to the defendant in the case, the opinion explained.
