Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Houston attorney Rebeca Huddle to the Texas Supreme Court to replace recently retired Justice Paul Green.
Huddle served from 2011 to 2017 as a justice on the First Court of Appeals in Houston. She will leave her position as partner-in-charge at the Houston office of Baker Botts to assume the bench on the high court.
