Judge Elaine Palmer of the 215th District Court in Houston is running for reelection against Republican challenger Fred Shuchart.
Palmer said that since taking the bench in 2013 she’s given litigants and attorneys a level playing field in her courtroom. But Shuchart said he has more broad and expansive legal experience than Palmer, and could contribute expertise in insurance law to the bench.
