Leading an international firm’s regional presence is a much different task in 2020 than it once was, given that many law firm offices are sparsely populated, if populated at all. But that doesn’t make office leadership irrelevant—if anything, it’s more important than ever.

Norton Rose Fulbright’s Dallas office has new leaders as of Sept. 1. Michael A. Swartzendruber is partner-in-charge of the 130-lawyer office, and Denise Webb Glass is now the administrative partner. The office had previously been run by Jonathan Skidmore, who had been partner-in-charge in Dallas since 2014, but is now global co-head of the firm’s life sciences and health care practice.
