A new lawsuit between a prominent San Antonio litigator—who’s playing a leading role in opioid litigation in Texas—and three employees of his law firm is shrouded in secrecy because the plaintiff has won a sealing order.
But it’s clear that Martin Phipps, founder and managing partner in Phipps Anderson Deacon, has sued his employees or ex-employees, Enrique Casillas, Rebecca Maha and Kimberly Knox, “to secure the immediate return of its personal property and proprietary business information,” according to a public notice on the motion to seal court records.
