San Antonio personal injury lawyer Cesar Ornelas II and his firm are among defendants in a civil barratry lawsuit filed Wednesday alleging they conspired to “illegally and unethically” solicit clients primarily from funeral homes owned or linked to Ornelas’ father.
“Ornelas Jr. and his father have made it a family business to profit from the deaths and injuries of others,” the plaintiffs alleged in a petition filed Wednesday in state district court in Bexar County.
