A federal judge in California has appointed two lawyers to lead class actions brought against Facebook Inc. over the Cambridge Analytica scandal over misuse of user data.

In a Friday order, U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria of the Northern District of California appointed Derek Loeser of Seattle’s Keller Rohrback and Lesley Weaver of Bleichmar Fonti & Auld in Oakland, California, to lead more than 30 class actions alleging Facebook violated consumer fraud and privacy laws in allowing the now-defunct Cambridge Analytica to use data from 87 million users.
