Ahead of Bill Cosby’s sentencing, prosecutors want a judge to determine whether he is a sexually violent predator.
In a filing Tuesday, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said his office had received an assessment from the Sexual Offenders Assessment Board, which opined that Cosby is a sexually violent predator. So prosecutors are requesting a hearing to determine whether that is indeed the case, before Cosby is sentenced in September.
