Now that a federal judge has refused to dismiss claims between former partners of the dissolved Pennsylvania-based firm Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton, the firm’s former leader wants to take the case back out of the courtroom.

Michael Nelson, ex-chairman of the former insurance boutique, is again seeking to take his former partners to arbitration, after revealing more details about his claims against them. He filed a motion to compel arbitration June 1, arguing that the lawyers are contractually bound by  Nelson Levine’s operating agreement and buy-sell agreement to submit any claims against each other to alternative dispute resolution.
