None of those reasons describes why Houston litigators Scott McLaughlin and Marlene Williams left Texas firm Jackson Walker to join global firm Eversheds Sutherland in Houston. The new Eversheds Sutherland partners say a major client with a lot of international work suggested they consider moving to Eversheds because of the firm’s extensive network of offices.
