Damian P. Conforti joins the firm as of counsel and co-chair of the firm’s Government Enforcement and White-Collar Crime Practice Group, where he defends corporate and individual clients from governmental investigations and criminal charges brought by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, State Attorneys General, and district attorneys. He also represents health-care practitioners, accountants, securities brokers, government officials and other professionals in regulatory and civil disputes with licensing agencies, regulatory boards, and insurance companies. He is a former assistant prosecutor with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office where he prosecuted several hundred criminal cases including homicides, drug offenses, violent offenses and white-collar crimes. Previously, he was appointed a municipal prosecutor in Jersey City and a municipal public defender for the boroughs of North Caldwell and Essex Fells. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at a white-collar criminal and government investigations boutique law firm. He is currently the co-chair of the Essex County Bar Association Criminal Law Committee. Conforti is admitted in both New Jersey and New York, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a Seton Hall University Law School graduate.

Ryan Buehler Ryan M. Buehler

Ryan M. Buehler joins the firm’s litigation department as counsel, where he will concentrate his practice in the area of commercial litigation. Buehler has represented clients before the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, Federal Court for the District of New Jersey, and municipal boards. He has represented commercial clients in matters involving, among other issues: lease disputes, contract disputes, partnership disputes, construction lien claims, tax liens, employment disputes, land use disputes, property rights, torts and environmental law. Buehler has also represented various clients in connection with mediations and arbitration proceedings. He received his J.D. from American University-Washington College of Law and his B.S. from Saint Joseph’s University. He is admitted in New Jersey.
