Tyler Technologies this week acquired online dispute resolution startup Modria in an effort to beef up technology for small claims in their court partners. The acquisition will allow court claimants to use Modria’s technology within Tyler’s e-filing system to resolve small-scale disputes online.
Bruce Graham, chief strategy officer for Tyler Technologies, explained that the company plans to have Modria’s technology accessible within its Odyssey File & Serve systems via their Guide & File platform, which features a number of different guided interviews specific to each court.
