What drew you to a career in law?

One aspect of law, and in particular litigation, that was always attractive to me was the wide variety of tasks that lawyers have to handle. I envisioned that no two days would be the same, and that has definitely been proven true in my career so far. In defending product liability lawsuits involving drugs and medical devices, I am always doing something different—from interviewing client witnesses to learn about the science and technology behind their products, to legal research and writing, to working with expert witnesses to comprehend complicated medical issues and develop our theory of the case, to settlement negotiations, to thinking on your feet at depositions, hearings and trials. It certainly never gets boring!
