After 21 years Matthew Swaya, deputy general counsel and chief ethics and compliance officer of Starbucks Corp., has quietly left the company.
Starbucks confirmed Friday that Swaya retired on June 1. His profile was removed from the company’s leadership website after Corporate Counsel asked about his status on Thursday, and on Friday morning the company confirmed that Swaya left.
