Salesforce is one of America’s largest tech companies. It’s also quite active in advocacy on certain social issues.

Amy Weaver, Salesforce’s general counsel and president of legal, has been a part of this push for change since joining the company in 2013. Weaver’s been a vocal advocate for more women and people of color in leadership and for equal pay. In 2015, she worked alongside her company’s CEO Marc Benioff to pressure then-Indiana Governor Mike Pence to amend a bill that allowed businesses in the state to refuse service to gay customers. The Salesforce efforts were successful.
