The end of 2017 saw an outpouring of workplace sexual harassment and assault allegations in every industry, and even in the courtroom. And the effects of those allegations—as well as shock over the ways they have been covered up—has continued into 2018.

NDAs, a common feature of such settlements, came under fire after reports that Harvey Weinstein, Bill O’Reilly and other alleged harassers had used them to legally bind survivors to secrecy.
