An ongoing suit involving a Star Trek-themed Dr. Seuss parody has provided plenty of inspiration for Dorsey & Whitney intellectual property attorney J. Michael Keyes. He has written three posts about the case at TheTMCA.com, and all of them have been in Seussian verse.

The litigation over “Oh, The Places You’ll Boldly Go” has progressed a bit since it was first brought by Dr. Seuss Enterprises against ComicMix in November 2016 (and since The National Law Journal first brought Keyes to its readers’ attention). Here is Keyes on the developments:
