Nikki practiced law for almost a decade in Sydney, Australia and understands, first-hand, the challenges faced by lawyers in a changing legal environment.
Her focus now is on future-proofing the firm by enabling practice excellence and optimizing client value, including through streamlining processes and implementing and leveraging the right technology tools and staffing models in support of all practitioners at the firm. Prior to her role at Paul Hastings, Nicola worked at top tier firms in Canada.

Candice Carr is a Senior Attorney in Microsoft’s Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs department. She is a member of Microsoft’s Modern Legal team within the Office of the General Counsel, to help drive digital transformation and modernization within our legal ecosystem.
Candice is a member of Microsoft CELA African American/ Black Employee (AA/BEN) Network Steering Committee leading Diversity and Inclusion efforts to foster education, career development, leadership, and allyship within our communities. Candice received her BA in Politics at Princeton and her JD at the University of Chicago – The Law School. She is licensed to practice in the States of Oregon and Washington.

Ronald J. Prague is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., a publicly-held company based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, a position he has held since 2006, where he is responsible for all of the company’s legal affairs. Synchronoss is a provider of mobile cloud innovation, messaging, digital and IoT products, supporting hundreds hundred of millions of subscribers across the globe.
Prior to joining Synchronoss, Mr. Prague was Group Counsel for Intel Corporation’s Communication Infrastructure Group. Mr. Prague also practiced law with the New York law firms of Haythe & Curley (now Torys LLP) and Richards & O’Neil (now Morgan Lewis).
Mr. Prague is a frequent speaker at various legal conferences and has written several articles on various legal issues. He is a member of the Board of Advisors of ACC New Jersey, and is co-chairperson of the ACC New Jersey Technology and Small Law Committees, and a member of the Livingston Sports Council and Cornell Agriculture and Life Sciences Alumni Board. Mr. Prague is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and received a B.S., with distinction from Cornell University.

Roger Pilc, who will facilitate today’s discussion, is President and General Manager of EPIQ’s Global Legal Solutions Business. In this role, he leads strategy, business growth, service delivery, operations and product development for a broad range of product offerings including information governance, forensics, eDiscovery processing and hosting, managed document review and advanced analytics. Pilc has over 20 years of technology and service leadership depth and a strong record of building and transforming technology businesses. Before joining Epiq, Pilc served as Executive Vice President at Pitney Bowes where he led PB’s digital transformation into a cloud-based, analytics-driven provider of commerce services, software and data solutions.
He holds a B.S. and B.A. from Cornell University, M.S. from Stanford University and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
