Law firms are wary of the cloud, but the majority of those that use the technology report a positive experience. That’s according to the results of the most recent Legaltech News Tech Survey, an annual survey conducted by ALM Intelligence on behalf of Legaltech News.
In its twenty-first year, the survey takes the pulse of technology and operations leaders within the nation’s largest law firms. ALM Intelligence queries firms on a variety of technology-related subjects including product preferences for hardware and software, planning and investment, capital and operating expenses, and IT staffing and compensation. For example, on the topic of cloud computing, three-fourths of the respondents reported using cloud technology though many expressed concern over the security and ownership of data stored in the cloud.
