Appellant is a professional employer organization providing professional employer services to its client, Legal Eats, LLC for its cafeteria personnel.

Appellant City of McAllen appealed the trial court's denial of its plea to jurisdiction in a negligence suit filed by appellee under the Texas Tort Claims Act, asserting immunity from suit due to appellee's failure to adequately plead that appellant's negligent operation of a motor-driven vehicle proximately caused her injuries.

In a workers' compensation death benefits case involving appellant City of Stephenville and appellees, the beneficiaries of a firefighter who died from pancreatic cancer, the court addressed whether pancreatic cancer arising from a firefighter's job activities is compensable under Texas law and which party bears the burden of proof.

The parties divorced in 2011. Appellant was ordered to pay monthly support of $1,150 per month to appellee who was permanently disabled. After appellant retired in 2015, he moved for modification of spousal maintenance.

Appellant filed a taxpayer refund suit against appellees, seeking to recover certain franchise tax payments made under protest.

In 2015, MH Alden Bridge was granted a franchise location in the Woodlands, Texas under which they would use the "Massage Heights" name and emblem while providing their massage services.
