Husch Blackwell partner Michael Klebanov has entered an appearance for Ecolab, the Minnesota-based hygiene services company, in a pending negligence lawsuit. The action, filed June 23 in Maryland District Court by the Stravitz Law Firm and Cozen O'Connor on behalf of Zurich Insurance Group, a Swiss life insurance company, claims that the defendant's misuse of its own proprietary cleaning product Bioquell VHP resulted in $2 million of damages. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Theodore D. Chuang, is 8:24-cv-01818, Zurich American Insurance Company v. Ecolab, Inc.
