New Suit - Product Liability

PPG Industries, Sherwin-Williams and the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways were hit with a lawsuit on Feb. 7 in West Virginia Circuit Court for Ohio County. The court action was brought by the Hartley Law Group on behalf of a highway laborer who contends that he was diagnosed with invasive bladder cancer after being exposed to high levels of hydrocarbon-containing products, including weed killer, paint and toluene. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is CC-35-2024-C-25, Thorn v. PPG Industrries, Inc.
