Homestreet Bank was hit with a consumer class action on Jan. 10 in Washington Superior Court for King County. The action, brought by Tousley Brain Stephens and KalielGold PLLC, is part of a wave of cases accusing financial institutions of unlawfully charging accountholders both an overdraft fee and an insufficient funds fee on the same transaction.
