Hyundai Motor America was sued on March 28 in Missouri Circuit Court for St. Louis City for alleged violations of the state's Merchandising Practices Act. The lawsuit, filed by Paul LLP and Sapp Law on behalf of Hyundai and Kia drivers, alleges that the defendants' lack of industry standard anti-theft devices in their vehicles has resulted in a wave of thefts.
