Lyft, State Farm Fire and Casualty and Hamilton Duplessis Jr. were hit with an insurance lawsuit on April 1 in Louisiana District Court for East Baton Rouge Parish. The suit, for personal injury claims arising from a motor vehicle, was filed by the Tadda Law Firm on behalf of Jacque Spears. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
