A former Twitter engineering manager sued the company, owner Elon Musk and Musk's SpaceX for employment discrimination and wrongful termination on Sept. 26 in California Superior Court for San Francisco County. The court action, filed by Law Offices of Traci M. Hinden and Quintana Hanafi LLP, contends that the plaintiff was denied a promised salary increase and repeatedly passed over for promotions in favor of less qualified men following Musk's takeover of Twitter. The plaintiff alleges claims for breach of contract, misrepresentation, gender discrimination, retaliation and violation of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
