Biotechnology company Freenome Holdings and Proclinical Staffing were slapped with a wage-and-hour class action on April 16 in California Superior Court for San Francisco County. The court case, brought by the Moon Law Group, contends that the defendants failed to provide legally compliant meal and rest periods, failed to indemnify workers for necessary business expenses, failed to properly calculate overtime wages and otherwise violated California labor protections.
