Walmart and James Packer were hit with a personal injury lawsuit on April 22 in Alabama 4th Judicial Circuit Court for Dallas County. The court action was filed by Serious Injury Law Group on behalf of Dwight McCorvey, who claims that he sustained injuries after he hit his leg and tripped on a shelving pallet jack that was left in the middle of the isle at Walmart's East Selma premises. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 27-CV-2024-900114, Dwight Mccorvey V. Walmart Store East, LP Et Al.
