With Some Mid-Market 50 Firms Moving Up, Average Revenue Sli...

Average revenue for the Law.com Pro Mid-Market 50 declined by 5.5% in 2023 compared with 2022—a shift from the prior year. But, the decline in average revenue may not necessarily signal troubles at the mid-market tier of firms, but rather reflect consolidation in the U.S. legal industry: Four of the firms that were near the top of the 2023 Mid-Market Pro 50 ranking last year jumped up to the 2024 Am Law 200's Second Hundred this year.
