The Quaker Oats Company, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, was hit with a collective employment action Monday in Illinois Northern District Court. The suit, brought by Morgan & Morgan and Parmet PC, centers on the defendant's use of Kronos payroll and timekeeping software and alleges that a 2021 ransomware attack on Kronos' systems resulted in overtime pay violations. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-02023, Winger v. The Quaker Oats Company.
