New Suit

Greenberg Traurig filed an insurance coverage action Friday in Florida Southern District Court on behalf of Wilshire Insurance Company. The suit seeks declaratory judgment that the insurer has no duty to defend or indemnify a Miami Beach condo association against lawsuits by owners and residents who were forced to evacuate their units because the building was determined to be unsafe and uninhabitable. According to the suit, the determination came after the June collapse of Champlain Towers. The case is 1:21-cv-23214, Wilshire Insurance Company v. Crestview Towers Condominium Association, Inc. et al.
