Seeking a more robust and energy-focused office, Shearman & Sterling private equity and M&A partner Sarah McLean has joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher as a corporate and financial services and private equity partner in Houston. At Shearman, McLean was a joint head of the U.S Energy industry group. McLean, who left Thompson & Knight in 2018 to help launch Shearman's office in Houston, started work at Willkie on Monday, despite the fact it was the New Year's Day holiday, because she is juggling a number of transactions.
