The Brand Institute, a consultancy that helped develop names for three-quarters of the drugs approved worldwide last year, has hired Timothy Gaul as vice president of intellectual property strategy. Gaul, who has more than 33 years of combined intellectual property experience at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Amgen, will join the Miami-based Brand Institute on Aug. 1.
