Verkada, a provider of cloud-based video surveillance systems, sued Motorola Solutions Thursday in California Northern District Court for declaratory judgment in a patent dispute related to Verkada's Dome, Mini, Fisheye, Bullet, and D-Series video security products. The lawsuit, filed by Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, seeks a judgment of non-infringement in connection with three patents asserted by Motorola in an ITC complaint that could block importation of Verkada security cameras.
