Allstate was hit with a consumer class action Monday in Florida Middle District Court. The lawsuit, brought by Normand Law, accuses Allstate of sending promotional advertisements via text to individuals whose personal phone numbers had been purchased from data aggregation companies. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 6:21-cv-01202, v. Miller et al.
