Cozen O'Connor filed a lawsuit Tuesday in Pennsylvania Western District Court on behalf of UPMC McKeesport Hospital. The suit seeks a declaration that UPMC owes no additional contributions to defendant Service Employees International Industry Pension Fund for work by members of defendant SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania from date-of-hire to the end of their probationary periods. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:22-cv-00178, UPMC McKeesport v. Service Employees International Union National Industry Pension Fund et al.
