A professor at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, claims the university and one of its associate professors participated in age-based discrimination by denying him promotional opportunities in favor of younger faculty members and retaliating against him after exercising his protected rights, according to a lawsuit filed in the state's Suffolk County Superior Court Wednesday.
