The federal government and the State of Texas filed an environmental lawsuit Wednesday in Texas Eastern District Court against DuPont and Performance Materials. The complaint accuses the defendants of discharging pollutants from an Orange County facility in violation of DuPont's Texas Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:21-cv-00516, United States of America et al v. E.I. Du Pont De Nemours and Co et al.
