Lawyers at Dentons on Monday removed an insurance lawsuit against Blackboard Insurance Company to Texas Western District Court. The complaint, which seeks coverage for business losses stemming from COVID-19, was filed by Ely & Reed on behalf of Uncle Nicky's LLC, an Italian restaurant in Austin, Texas. The case is 1:21-cv-00030, Uncle Nicky's LLC v. Blackboard Insurance Company.
