Travelers, a New York-based insurance company, was slapped with a lawsuit Monday in Georgia Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Barnes & Thornburg on behalf of Tiber Capital Group, seeks a declaratory judgment against Travelers for the reimbursement of loss and claim expenses for an underlying criminal action covered by a crime insurance policy. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:22-cv-00095, Tiber Capital Group, LLC v. Travelers Casualty & Surety Company of America.
