George B. Adams III and Jessica Valenzuela of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher of have stepped in as defense counsel to Rain Oncology Inc., Richard Bryce and Avanish Vellanki in a pending securities class action. The case, filed July 14 in California Northern District Court by Levi & Korsinsky, accuses the defendants of concealing the risks in the design of the company's new treatment for dedifferentiated liposarcoma. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Edward J. Davila, is 5:23-cv-03518, Thant v. Rain Oncology Inc. et al.
